I am originally from Milwaukee, Wi. I came to Vail on a ski vacation in the late 70's and met my future husband "Vail's Piano Man" Micky Poage here. After a long-distance courtship, I finally moved here in 1981. I began selling Real Estate for the former Vail Associates Real Estate which eventually merged with Slifer & Company; Vail's 1st Real Estate firm. We are now known as Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate and are celebrating over 60 years as the No. 1 real estate firm in the Vail Valley. I have been assisting clients for over 35 years. I enjoy meeting people who come from all over the world to visit the Vail Valley. They all seem to fall in love with this magical place, as did I, and it gives me so much pleasure making their dreams of owning a home here a reality.
I have enjoyed watching and being a part of the growth in the resort areas like Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch, Arrowhead and Cordillera. I currently reside in the golf course community of Eagle Ranch, recently downsizing from a home my husband and I built in Cordillera, where we had lived for 18 years. Prior to that we built homes in EagleVail where we had resided for 19 years. My husband Micky is currently the entertainer at Vista Restaurant at Country Club of the Rockies. We raised one son, Parker who attended Vail Christian High School and graduated from Texas A&M University in 2018. We enjoy the pleasures of Mountain Life: skiing, golf, hiking, snowshoeing and daily encounters with wildlife & the insurmountable beauty that surrounds us.
